- Once you've selected a photograph to start with, simply click on the right arrow to go to the next photo and the left arrow to go back. Clicking on the square between the arrows will bring you back to the thumbnail page and you can use the button bar at the bottom to go to different areas of the site.
- The links in the text on the Main Menu page will lead you to more detailed information about Kyoto.
- If you're on a 14" monitor and you're looking at the portrait orientated images, remove the toolbar, location, and directory buttons using Options in the menu bar of Netscape and you should be able to see the whole image.
- The best way to view this site is in 16-bit color. To change from 8-bit color with a Macintosh and Netscape, first change the bit-depth to "65536 colors" in the Monitors Control Panel. Then open a new browser window in Netscape. If the background is smooth, you're all set. I'm not sure how to do it with other machines and browsers so if you know, please contact me.
